Christmas in Redhill: Christmas #DestinationRedhill!

This year there are countless reasons to celebrate the festive season in Redhill. As you may have seen, the Redhill Business Guild has again organised the large Christmas tree in the centre of the town centre, with the support of Reigate and Banstead Borough Council, Surrey County Council, Cllr Essex, Cllr Bramhall, The Belfry, Ralph James, Roadrunners and The Light. Huge thanks to all of our sponsors for helping us bring some Christmas cheer to the town. The planning for this year’s tree started back in early July, with the main Christmas Light Switch On planned for Saturday 18 November, along with the Belfry Shopping Centre event.

Talking of which, there are a LOT of Christmassy things happening in the town this year, including the return of the popular Guild-run event, #Destination Redhill on Saturday 9 December. The Christmas #DestinationRedhill event is a town centre activation event, designed to drive footfall into the town centre from around the borough and beyond to give a boost to our Redhill businesses.

Town centre businesses can get involved by contacting paula@thechainagency.co.uk and answering these questions:
– Can you stay open later on 9th December? If so, until what time?
Will your business be running any special offers or entertainment that we can promote for you?
Can you display a Christmas #DestinationRedhill poster?
Would your business like to be part of the live social media coverage on the day?

As ever, the more local people and businesses that can support these events, the greater the benefit on our whole business community – so please like and share social media posts when you see them, display a poster if you have the space and attend in person to show your support.

If you have any Christmas events in Redhill that you would like us to promote, please send the details to paula@thechainagency.co.uk.
